In this document, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Paramount Plates Ltd, and “you” means the business named at checkout.

You can reach us at hello@platesoftware.co.uk or on 0191 367 3451, Monday to Saturday, 8:00am to 4:30pm.

What these cover

These terms apply to anyone using platesoftware.co.uk, whether or not you buy anything. If you do buy, the terms of sale and licence agreement apply as well.

The support guides

The guides are published free and describe how to use Plate Software. They are written carefully and kept current, but they are general guidance about operating a piece of software — not advice about your legal obligations as a plate supplier.

Standards, registration requirements and the rules on who may be supplied a plate are yours to know and to keep up with. Where a guide mentions a standard or a marking, that is a description of what the software does, not a statement that following it makes a plate compliant.

Responsibility for the finished plate rests with the business that makes it. We are not liable for a business decision taken on the strength of a free guide alone.

Nothing on this page limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.

Our content

The text, images, screenshots and design of this site belong to us. You may read, print and share them for your own business use. You may not republish them commercially or present them as your own.

Using the site properly

Do not try to break into it, overload it, scrape it at a rate that affects other people, or use the enquiry forms to send anything unlawful or abusive.

We may block access where any of that is happening.

Availability

We do not promise the site is always available. It is a website for a small business, and it will occasionally be down.

Links out

Where we link to another site, we do not control it and we are not responsible for what it says.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes about them are for the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can use your own courts.
