Typing the mark
- Click the Registration field at the top of the Road workspace.
- Type the registration. Spacing is applied for you as you go.
- The hint under the field tells you how the mark will be laid out — for example “Front 1 row · Rear auto-split”.
- Use the Front, Rear and Stacked buttons under Preview to check each face.

Two-row plates
Motorcycle and square blanks split the mark across two rows at the first space. The preview shows exactly how it will print.
When the checks object
If a mark cannot be laid out for road use, the print button stays closed and a banner appears above the canvas. Open Plate checks in the bottom bar to see what needs attention.
Worth knowing. This is the software doing its job. It is far cheaper to be stopped here than to find out after the blank is through the printer.
